About Us

Welcome to our preschool, founded in 2017 and officially opened in January 2021. We are a Montessori-inspired institution with a strong focus on academic development. As the sister school of Pleasanton Bilingual Montessori Preschool, we are committed to providing a nurturing environment where children can thrive. At our preschool, we prioritize creating an atmosphere that fosters emotional and physical security, ensuring that each child’s worth is acknowledged and respected. Our goal is to empower children to reach their fullest potential, encouraging independent thought and fostering their ability to make meaningful contributions to society and the world in innovative ways.

Our Team

Every EMA teacher is highly qualified, possessing a diverse background in early childhood education as well as Montessori training. Our staff not only meet but often surpass the licensing requirements and background check standards set by the state of California. Each of our educators has pursued studies in early childhood development, with many actively working towards an Associate or Bachelor’s degree in child development or related fields. Our team is also certified in CPR and First Aid, renewing this essential training every two years.

Above all, we prioritize hiring staff members who personify compassion and care. These individuals are equipped to create a nurturing and supportive environment for children, fostering growth during the most crucial developmental stages of a child’s life.

MS. FENG

Director

My educational journey began in Singapore, where I pursued secondary, tertiary, and graduate school education majoring in electrical engineering. The bilingual learning environment helped me to gaind a profound understanding of the importance of exposing children to multiple languages from a young age. After working for the Canadian Research Chair for two years, I realized my true calling lay in understanding and nurturing young minds. Motivated by this passion, I embarked on a journey of professional growth, completing all early childhood education/psychology courses.

My teaching career began at Pleasanton Bilingual Montessori Preschool in 2015, where I fully embraced the Montessori philosophy. Through hands-on learning experiences, individualized instruction, and fostering a love for learning, I successfully nurtured the intellectual, social, and emotional growth of my students.

At EnGrace Montessori Academy, I am proud to be part of the founding team. Since our establishment in 2021, I have opened and overseen the development of the Blue, Purple, Green, and Orange rooms, creating engaging environments that stimulate exploration, discovery, and independence. As the Director, I leverage my years of site supervisor credentials to ensure a safe and enriching educational experience for our students.
